set off late today about 9 ish and suffered with traffic not ge4tting to
the beach until 12 ish and then to top it all promptly got stuck! thanks to
andy daz and a few locals for helping get out of the sand; no doubt andy
will post the photos.
the dunkster and steveo turned up a short while later and we waited out the
squall.
first; straight out of the bagfor the first time the 11 mtr new yarga;
unsure of the power of the kites having not riden them before thought i was
going out underpowered.WRONG. there is so much grunt in these kites yet the
depower is amazing.set off ascross the water like a bullet, yet still under
control and able to depower the kite at will. went to do a small pop off a
wave, WOW huge and not even trying. the lift was enormous. a few runs
boosting huge jumps ,then came in for a smaller kite.
just on an off chance thought i would try the 7 not expecting much.well
what a pocket rocket;blasting about on a 7 when even the dunkster was on
his 9.5.what a kite!
as the wind dropped off slightly came in to try out yet another new kite,
the 9 mtr. one morniing and already using 3 of my new quiver for the first
time.
unreal kite ,stable and smooth copes with the gusts like nothing i have
flown before.
what a great days sailing and on such fantastic kites.
